Exercising in Africa is often understated as the continent does not consciously put effort towards exercising than other regions but this could be resolved by regular physical exercising.
Performing physical activity regularly can provide great benefits, both for our body, for our mind and also has an important influence on our mood, because through exercise we generate endorphins, whose high levels in the blood provide a sense of well-being.

Our body needs to be in motion to stay active and young, physical exercise helps us to control the natural processes that occur throughout life such as hormonal changes and ageing.

Regular physical exercises also help to provide the necessary strength for our muscles and bones.

  1. Physical exercise helps you sleep better. Exercise helps fight insomnia because through it we can drain a huge amount of energy, especially negative energy and in the end you will be much more relaxed. Of course, avoid doing it right before going to bed.

It also helps to promote higher production of calcium and prevents diseases such as osteoporosis and at the same time makes our muscles strong and flexible.
  4. Physical exercise prevents high blood pressure since it helps maintain triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the blood. It also helps to Reduces the risk of heart disease ( heart attacks and other heart diseases) and strokes.
  5. It is also good for maintaining good cardiovascular health, leading to better overall health for your heart.
  6. Physical exercise is one of the main tools to maintain a healthy weight permanently. it also gives you a nice physical look and helps to curb the dangers of obesity.
  7. Exercising regularly prevents and reduces the risk of diseases such as type 2 diabetes.

How much exercise should we do?

In general, it is highly recommended to do at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day, this will depend of course on the physical condition of each one, the age and the goals that we consider when exercising.
It is important not to overdo it and if you are a sedentary person, start small. But keep in mind that it’s not too late to start, it’s not expensive or it will take too much time, anyone can walk for 30 minutes or make a gentle jog.
With time you can demand a little more to your body, as long as you go feeling comfortable. The most important thing is definitely to start and keep it as a habit for a lifetime.
